May Update...

Well the dust has settled after The Day in the Country Show...always a fantastic weekend laughing and shopping with great friends! Thought I would post pictures of my space...picked pretty clean by the end of the weekend! No worries I have been busy hunting for more treasures and replenishing items I make myself... My shop is back together and filled again with great stuff! If you missed the show mark you calendar for November 14th and 15th!!! We do it again!

Been awhile!

It has been way too long since my last post! I thought I should update everyone with what I have been up to! Or not up to! It has been a long cold winter here in Southern Ontario and I feel like I have been hibernating for months now! I always close my brick and mortar shop The Primitive Heart during this time and concentrate on my Etsy shop and my booth in the Waterford Antique Market and both have been wonderfully busy! So a big thank you for supporting my little business! I recently updated to an iphone 6 and this has been life changing when it comes to my online shop! So easy to take great pictures, upload and go! Love it, love it,love it!!

And of course the hoarding has begun for the upcoming DAY IN THE COUNTRY SHOW...May 2&3...My dining room is filling up with goodies I have found while out and about this winter...I have been loving that apple green colour lately and see a theme starting! Something about spring, fresh flowers and herbs. I cannot wait to get into my shop and start new displays and putter around out there! I have plenty of new items on their way as well as new items I have created...so look for my re- opening the end of the March (probably Thursday the 26th)...Stay warm!

My Etsy shop Update...

Oh how the summer has flown by!  I have opened up my little Etsy shop again...I finally cut into a gorgeous french sheet I found this summer and sewed up some pockets, bags and pin keeps. I hope you will pop over and take a look!

My Linen Affair...

It has been ages since my last post. Too much time on FB and Pinterest! This post could also be titled "My Pinterest Affair!" I am sure many of you can relate! Among many of my obsessions ,lately it has been linen...European linen to be exact! The colour, the texture, the seams, there is nothing better than a soft nubbie sheet! I have slowly been adding to my stash. I love to stack it, hang it, and just stare at it!
